2013 India Red Porter...

***New Beer Alert*** 2013 India Red Porter | Track #1

Style - India Red Porter [our own terminology] but brewed in the style of a Cascadian Dark Ale or Black IPA 

ABV - 7.70% 

IBUs - 80 

SRM - 24 

Hops: Centennial, Zythos, and Chinook in the boil | Chinook and Simcoe dry-hop 

Malts: Colorado Pale, Crystal, Munich, Victory, Pale Chocolate, Black, and Roasted Barley 

Tasting Notes: Pungent and resinous pine and bright citrus aroma, with a rich, roasty, and dark chocolate mouthfeel, finishing with a dry, and aggressive bitterness. The complexity of this beer is truly experienced as you drink a full glass of it. The enormous hop bite of the beer tends to fade back as your palate adjusts to it, and the softer and more subtle caramel and milk chocolate undertones in the body come forward. This rounds the beer out, refreshes the palate, and makes you crave another. Our India Red Porter is a true nod to the snowy Colorado winter and a plea for more of the same!

Thanksgiving Week...

We are now doing Bring Your Own Vinyl on Wednesdays - so bring it, we'll spin it. We are closed Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. Black Friday we will open early and party like we should - with food, drink, music, and friends. Saturday brings Small Business Saturday where we will sell growlers of our Sour Mash Red Saison for the first time ever, and we are discounting our remaining stock of Red Evelyn. It will be badass. We hope to see you.

Beer and Cheese...

We have once again teamed up with Amy from Marczyk's Fine Foods to offer you an evening of beer, cheese, education, and enlightenment. The evening will start at 7:00 pm sharp, and we'll be pouring 4 hand-crafted beers alongside 4 hand-selected cheeses. Amy will guide you through the cheeses and give you a little background on their origin, maker, history, and characteristics and Branden will chat about the beers. Seats are very limited to ensure the intimacy and comfort of our guests, as well as the ability to really engage with both Amy and Branden. We hope you'll join us.

...these are the Album Covers for the website. It's been a long time in the making, but when you are like us and doing every single thing in the house, by hand, shit just takes time. Now to get the tracks all done. 

Fall In Denver, CO

Honestly, we have it pretty good here. Every now and then we get a little moisture. Every, oh....500 years or so we get the kind of moisture that we saw in mid Sept. It was devastating for many. It was incredible. It made me want to brew beer. Beer with body. Beer with depth. Beer that satisfies in the middle of the winter. Because that is what is coming. A big winter is my prediction. Filled with delicious beer. Emotion-driven beer. Beer de terroir.
